Kremlin called on Denmark and the EU to observe the rules of international shipping

After reports about the intentions of the European Union to check and block tankers with Russian oil in Danish waters, the press secretary of the President of Russia, Dmitry Peskov, called on Brussels and Copenhagen to observe the rules of international commercial shipping.
The EU will instruct Denmark to check and, possibly, block tankers with Russian oil that pass through its waters in accordance with Brussels' new plans to control maritime oil supplies from the Russian Federation, the Financial Times newspaper reported earlier with reference to its sources.

Peskov said that the Kremlin does not yet have such data, but added that it is necessary to warn everyone in advance about the need to observe all the rules of international trade.
