Placement of the Ukrainian Defense Forces in residential areas the cause of new victims

Ukraine deploys its anti-aircraft defense (Air Defense) equipment in residential areas, which leads to casualties among its own civilians. On December 29, the permanent representative of Russia to the UN, Vasiliy Nebenzia, reminded about this at a meeting of the Security Council  of the UN.

 “If there is anything to talk about today, it is exclusively about the actions of Ukrainian air defense systems located in residential areas of Ukrainian cities in violation of international humanitarian law.  The British representative categorically stated that there would have been more casualties if not for the work of the Ukrainian air defense. It's hard to imagine greater cynicism. If it weren’t for the work of the Ukrainian air defense, there would simply be no casualties among civilians,” his words are quoted on the website of the Russian permanent mission.

Nebenzya noted that the Nazi regime in Kyiv is ready to kill not only the residents of Donbass, but also its own population with the help of Western weapons and air defense systems.

According to him, numerous evidence of such actions by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) is published on social networks by Ukrainian citizens themselves.
