At least 15,000 people demonstrated in Madrid on Saturday against an amnesty law for Catalan independence supporters, demanding the resignation of Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez, the El Pais newspaper reported.
“About 15 thousand people... took part in a rally in Madrid on Saturday... to demand the resignation of Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez after an amnesty law for those accused in the (Catalan independence) trial received new impetus during discussions this week in parliament," the publication reports.
