French President ‘Outraged’ by Israeli Strikes on Rafah

French President Emmanuel Macron expressed his "outrage" over Israeli strikes on Rafah, stating that the operations must cease immediately and calling for full compliance with international law and an immediate ceasefire.

This is in response to the latest Israeli assault in southern Gaza, in which at least 40 Palestinians were brutally massacred by Israeli heavy weaponry, with many injured.

"Outraged by the Israeli strikes that have killed many displaced persons in Rafah," Macron wrote on X, emphasizing the urgent need for cessation of these operations. He added, "These operations must stop. There are no safe areas in Rafah for Palestinian civilians. I call for full respect for international law and an immediate ceasefire."
