The ongoing stage of the exercise is aimed at maintaining the readiness of personnel and equipment of units for the combat use of non-strategic nuclear weapons of Russia to carry out combat missions.
As part of this stage of the exercise, the personnel of the missile formations of the Southern and Central military districts will work out combat training tasks of obtaining special training ammunition for the Iskander-M operational-tactical missile systems, equipping launch vehicles with them and covertly advancing to designated position areas in preparation for conducting electronic launches.
The personnel of the aviation units of the Aerospace Forces involved in the exercise will practice equipping with special combat units of aviation weapons and sorties to designated patrol areas.

Третий этап учения нестратегических ядерных сил стартовал в соответствии с решением президента РФ, будут отработаны вопросы подготовки частей к боевому применению нестратегического ядерного оружия, сообщило Минобороны.
ReplyDeleteЛичный состав ракетных соединений Южного и Центрального военных округов отработает учебно-боевые задачи получения специальных учебных боеприпасов для комплексов "Искандер-М". Личный состав авиации ВКС отработает снаряжение специальными боевыми частями авиасредств поражения и вылеты в районы патрулирования.
Этап учения направлен на поддержание готовности личного состава и техники частей боевого применения нестратегического ядерного оружия России к выполнению боевых задач, уточнили в МО РФ.
Troops stationed in the Southern and Leningrad military districts, as well as Aerospace Forces and Navy personnel, were trained to prepare for the use of non-strategic nuclear weapons during the first and second stages of the drills.
