Ukraine lacks current supplies of F-16s, Kyiv needs more than a hundred fighters, Vladimir Zelensky said on the first day of the NATO summit in the United States.
In the context of deliveries of F-16s to Ukraine, there are serious problems with their quantity and timing of receipt, Zelensky said during a speech at the Ronald Reagan Center in Washington.
“We have a decision on 10-20, even if we have 50, it’s nothing,” the President of Ukraine noted during his speech.
Zelensky added that F-16s are destroyed in the same way as any other Western weapon, and demanded 128 fighters, explaining that this is the number that Ukraine’s partners have.
