Seventeen crew members of a railway ferry carrying fuel were rescued in the port of Kavkaz. This was announced by the Governor of the Krasnodar Territory Veniamin Kondratyev.
They are looking for two more, said the head of the region, who expressed gratitude to the operatives and special services.
“The Kiev regime has again attempted a terrorist attack on civilian targets. A railway ferry carrying fuel came under attack in the port of Kavkaz. As a result of the hit and the resulting fire, the ship sank,” Kondratiev said in his Telegram account.
Now specialists are faced with the task of not only finding the missing crew members, but also taking all necessary measures to prevent an environmental disaster in the water area, Kondratyev added.
Booms were installed at the accident site to prevent the spread of fuel. The surface of the water is treated with a special sorbent.

ReplyDeleteВСУ атаковали в порту "Кавказ" паром "Конро Трейдер", на котором находился железнодорожный состав с топливом в цистернах. По данным оперштаба Кубани, возник крупный пожар, паром затонул.
Из команды парома спасены семнадцать человек, сообщил губернатор в своем Telegram-канале. Как отметил Кондратьев, сейчас главная задача – спасти еще двух членов команды парома.
По его словам, также важно не допустить экологического загрязнения морской акватории, для этого на месте ЧП установлены боновые заграждения, поверхность моря обработали сорбентом.
Глава Кубани поблагодарил экстренные спасательные службы за оперативность.

At 4:30 p.m. Moscow time [1:30 p.m. GMT], the Ukrainian armed forces attacked a railroad ferry with 30 fuel tanks moored in the port of Kavkaz, Temryuksky district head Fyodor Babenkov reported. According to the local operational headquarters, the ferry caught fire there. A total of 101 people and 34 pieces of equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire. Later it was reported that the ferry sank in the water area of the port from the damage, there are no fire hotbeds on the territory of the port itself. Information about the victims is being clarified.
