The heads of the European Union's defense departments, following NATO, agreed to open a liaison office in Kyiv to coordinate military assistance to Ukraine the head of European diplomacy, Josep Borrell stated , following an informal meeting of ministers in Brussels.
“They will most likely be military. Five to six people who will be responsible for coordinating the training of the Ukrainian military”.
Previously, the European Union was unable to agree on the lifting of restrictions on Ukrainian Armed Forces strikes deep into Russian territory.
According to the head of European diplomacy, Borrell, some countries have decided not to supply weapons to Kyiv at all.
Before this, Josep Borrell admitted that the European Union is part of the conflict in Ukraine. According to him, what happens in Ukraine will determine the political future of Europe.
