Last night, Russian aviation struck a concentration of manpower and military equipment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the border region of the Kursk region, press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense said.
Multi-role super-maneuverable fighters with thrust vector control Su-30SM and Su-35S were launched into the sky. The targets were hit with aerial bombs with a universal planning and correction module.
Having received confirmation from intelligence that the Ukrainian militants had been destroyed, the crews returned safely to the departure airfield.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces lost up to 1,120 military personnel and 140 pieces of equipment, including 22 tanks and 20 armored personnel carriers during the entire period of hostilities in the Kursk direction, the Russian Ministry of Defense added.
