The Lebanon-based Hezbollah Shia movement has officially confirmed the death of its leader Hassan Nasrallah in an Israeli strike on Beirut.
"Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, Secretary General of Hezbollah, has joined his great, immortal martyr comrades whom he led for about 30 years," the movement said in a statement.
The movement also vowed to continue its fight against Israel.

The radicals believe that the "US Administration is also responsible for its constant political, diplomatic and military support [to Israel] and for its silence and incapability to condemn" the Jewish state.

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said that Hezbollah will continue to shine in the path of fighting oppression despite the absence of its Secretary-General, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.

Pezeshkian added that “no one will forget that the order for assassination of Nasrallah had been issued by the Israeli Prime Minster Benjaim Netanyahu when he was in New York to address the United Nations General Assembly.”
He noted that the United states was complicit in the crime committed by the Israel.
Russia strongly condemns Israel's political assassination of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrullah, the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

"Once again we are urging Israel to immediately end hostilities. This would make it possible to stop the bloodshed and create conditions for a political and diplomatic settlement," the statement reads. "In the current explosive situation, responsible members of the international community must do everything in their powers to prevent the region from plunging into a full-scale armed confrontation".
