Iran's parliament speaker says militant groups will go on confronting Israel

Iran-backed militant groups will carry on confronting Israel with Tehran's help following Nasrallah’s killing, Iran's parliament speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf has said.

"We will not hesitate to go to any level in order to help the resistance," Qalibaf said in remarks carried by Iranian state media.

He also issued a warning to the United States, describing it as "complicit in all of these crimes".

    On Saturday, the Biden administration officials said they were still examining the situation in Lebanon and next potential steps, adding it was hard to forecast developments in the nearest days, the newspaper said.
