Patrushev: the Baltic countries are building military infrastructure on the border with the Russia, trying to kick out Russia from Baltic Sea

The Baltic countries have begun building military infrastructure on the border with Russia.Nikolai Patrushev, aide to the President of the Russian Federation, Chairman of the Maritime Collegium, announced this at a meeting in the Kaliningrad region.

    “The Baltic countries are modernizing their military infrastructure to accommodate NATO forces,” he noted.

 According to Patrushev, Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia began to build a defensive line of structures on the border as part of the implementation of their agreements.

The presidential aide added that on the part of these countries there is also a clear desire to change the status of the Baltic Sea after Finland and Sweden joined the North Atlantic Alliance. He noted that plans are being hatched to ban the movement of the Russian fleet in the Baltic Sea.

 “Russian ships are being disconnected from the satellite network and communications, which creates risks for the safety of navigation and a threat to the critical information infrastructure of water transport,” concluded the Chairman of the Maritime Board.

    "В Балтийском регионе страны НАТО регулярно проводят военные учения, в ходе которых отрабатываются сценарии отражения якобы российского нападения на страны Прибалтики. Примером могут служить натовские маневры "Стойкий защитник", проходившие весной этого года", — отметил Патрушев.

    Patrushev added that in violation of international rules, Russian ships are disconnected from the satellite communication network, which creates risks to the safety of navigation and threats to the critical information infrastructure of water transport in general.

  3. Запад, осложняя грузопассажирский транзит в Калининградскую область, пытается изолировать регион от России. Об этом заявил помощник президента РФ Николай Патрушев.

    "В целях изоляции Калининградской области, нарушения транспортного сообщения с основной территорией России страны Запада идут на максимальное осложнение грузопассажирского транзита в Калининград", – приводит его слова агентство "Интерфакс".

    Патрушев проинформировал, что в настоящее время перевозка необходимых для региона грузов по сухопутному маршруту ограничена в отношении 80% товарной номенклатуры.

    В сложившейся ситуации пришлось переориентировать на морские маршруты основную часть автомобильного и железнодорожного грузопотока.
