Secretary of State Antony Blinken, like US President Joe Biden, canceled his visit to Germany for the Ramstein meeting due to Hurricane Milton. This was announced by US State Department spokesman Matthew Miller.
Earlier it was reported that Biden decided to postpone trips to Germany and Angola. According to the White House press secretary, Biden will remain in the United States to oversee preparations and response to Hurricane Milton, as well as continue to coordinate efforts in the aftermath of Hurricane Helen.
Germany will host a summit of the contact group on military assistance to Ukraine on October 12.
