Iran to provide resistance forces fighting Israel with all support — FM

Iran will provide the resistance forces opposing Israel with all necessary support beyond political and diplomatic steps, the Islamic republic's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said.

"Our support will not be limited to political and diplomatic [measures], we will provide them with whatever they need, whatever it is," Araghchi told the Al Jazeera TV channel.

"The resistance is capable of responding to Israel," the Iranian foreign minister added. He further stated that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu "failed to achieve his goal" of destroying the Palestinian Hamas movement in the Gaza Strip and "will face the same situation in Lebanon."

  2. The foreign minister of Iran urged joint action to frustrate the Israeli regime’s plot to thrust a catastrophe on the whole region.

In a post on his X account in the wee hours of Thursday, Abbas Araqchi said he had held “very important discussions on critical issues of common concern” with the crown prince of Saudi Arabia during his visit to Riyadh on Wednesday.

“Israeli regime is dragging the whole region into a catastrophe. Insight, wisdom, courage and cooperation are what the region needs to overcome this challenging time,” he stressed.

Araqchi has left Saudi Arabia for Qatar to continue with his diplomatic efforts to end the Israeli regime’s war on the Gaza Strip and Lebanon.
