North Korea on Sunday launched another ballistic missile, the first since April 29, according to the South Korean military.
"North Korea fired an unidentified missile at around 5.27 am today from an area in the vicinity of Kusong, North Pyongan Province," according to a statement from the South Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS).
The South Korean authorities added that the missile traveled about 700 km before falling into the waters of the Sea of Japan [East sea], indicating that it was a successful test, and they believe that it is a ballistic missile, although they continue analyzing the details of the launch to determine its type.
