Russian communists compare Lenin statue demolition in Ukraine to zombie movies

MOSCOW, September 29. /ITAR-TASS/. The Communist Party has condemned the demolition of a massive statue of Russian revolutionary Vladimir Lenin in the eastern Ukrainian city of Kharkiv, comparing the events to the scenes of zombie films.
The party’s first deputy chairman, Igor Melnikov, said the scenes in which people show their disregard of history and ideals of their grandfathers remind of “zombie movies where the virus is rapidly spreading.”
“In such films, there is always healthy resistance which in ultimately wins,” the Russian lawmaker stressed.

Répondant à des questions de la presse concernant la prise en photo du vice-Président du parlement de l’ARYM, Antonio Milososki, au sommet du mont Olympe avec le Soleil de Vergina, Konstantinos Koutras, porte-parole du ministère des Affaires étrangères a fait la déclaration suivante :

BBC makes report about Nazi militants in Kiev. -video

The British Broadcasting Corporation – BBC – said the radical association The Right Sector was the organizer of the most vehement protest rallies in Ukraine. On Saturday, March 1st, it posted a video report from the center of Kiev, where the streets are being patrolled by the militants in the military uniform with the SS symbols, on its website.

FIFA: Kosovo to play friendlies without national symbols

ZURICH - The International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) has confirmed that its Emergency Committee has allowed Kosovo to play friendly matches, but without displaying flags or playing anthems.

The decision on the issue was taken at last Friday's meeting in Zurich, attended by the president of the Football Association of Serbia Tomislav Karadzic, the president of Kosovo's football federation Fadil Vokrri and FIFA President Joseph S. Blatter, said a statement published on the FIFA website.

The three sides agreed that FIFA member associations may play friendly matches with Kosovo teams, but Kosovo clubs and representative teams may not display national symbols.
